Happy Tails: Elind (Updated!)

Look at this, I REDREW MY LIL GIRL! who's not so little anymore <3. I just realized that my computer has the max setting on brightness, so this will probably look incredibly dark one everyone's elses screens. I'm so Done with myself.

Introvert: Elind likes to be alone. She's not a lone wolf by any means, but being around others drains her energy and exhaust her both mentally and physically. That doesn't mean that she can't have fun with friends, like going to the movies, staying over the night, and other group activities. But if she had to choose, she would much rather sit in her bathtub, listening to Cher while reading a good book.

Motherly: Even in her early years Elind was rather mature in her way of thinking compared to her classmates. When others were sad she was always close by, if no one were to aid the person she would eventually sit beside them and try to make it better. Now in later years she'd more than once been a shoulder to cry on and a person who you could went your problems too. She's more than happily to listen.

Clever: Grades was never a problem for this girl. In her young years she was knowledge seeking  and questioned everything before she could read and find the answers herself. Having a mother who's a teacher was also a big help for her.

Nerdy: A hardcore TMNT (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) Fan. She's been investing more time than necessary watching and reading those cartoons. She's also cute the collector and take great pride in her comics, but that doesn't mean they're untouched. Comics are made to be read and weep over after all. 

Unpredictable: There is more to this girl than meets the eye. Don't let her innocent personality and appearance fool you, or you might by mistake find yourself in the hospital. And Elind with both flowers and balloons crying by your bed apologizing.

Unlucky: Trouble he will find you no matter where you go~. If there's a group of people walking down a road, there's a 87% chance that Elind will get hit by a Car door, walk into a lamp pole, or get drenched by a puddle wave from a speeding car. If it doesn't hit her first that is. 

History 

Elind comes from a family of four. A father, a mother and a younger sister. Her father is Kurdish, and only the second generation living in America since his mother fled with him and his younger brother. He worked as a construction worker. Her mother on the other hand comes from England and works as a middle school teacher. And then there is her younger sister who is about 5 years younger and a whole head taller than Elind.

Living in a small apartment, Elind and her family didn't have much money but there were nonetheless very happy. When their parents worked the sisters usually cooked dinner together, which always was pleasant for their parents to come home too after a long day at work. But when Her father got worn out from his job, and got both a bad knee and back he had to take an early retirement needed to stay at home to recover. This of course became very hard for their mother to be the one who only really had an income. She had to take double shifts in order to support her family. Being a middle school teacher didn't pay much after all.

Elind was 11 by then, and since she still went to school couldn't take a part-time job. But a nice old couple in the same building one day wondered if she could help then cut their two Shih-tzu's. They Were too old to do it themselves and the way to the nearest groomer was too far away. Of course they would pay her for it. Now Elind knew nothing about dogs, her mother was allergic, and father was afraid of them. But it was an easy way to get money so there was no way she could decline that.

But it was easier said than done at first, and the dogs looked absolutely ridiculous. Incredibly ashamed Elind didn't even want to accept the money but the kind couple thought she'd done a very good job for a first time. And so that was how she got her first 70$. Their words had been enough for Elind to actually want to continue with it, and so she began to research how to properly groom dogs. Reading books, watching videos, and even seeing it for herself She felt much more ready the next time they called.

This time they looked more that decent. The couple was overjoyed and wondered if she would like to trim their friends dogs too. Elind gladly accepted. Years passed and this was a nice side income for her to help support her family with. when she was 15 her mother got a promotion and began to work at and university, which their father later became a physic professor in. At the age of 19 Elind wanted to move out from her safe world at home with her parents and see the other places. After months of searching she finally found the perfect place, and she was off to Pawsville!

Trivia

¤ She Loves dogs incredibly much, No matter the size or type.
¤ She also loves turtles/tortoises and are a collector of turtle themed "things"
¤ Owns a miniature tortoise named Cupcake, Aka Chomper for Several reasons.
¤ Chomper is a devious little turtle. BEVARE
¤ Stronger than she looks, trained brazilian jiu jitsu untill she moved away.
¤ Has a very good relationship with her sister.
¤ Was actually a real violent troublemaker as a kid and usually got into fist fights with older boy's.
